Stampix receives IAB Europe MIXX Awards 2022

Last week, our Operations Director Nathalie Demeestere booked a last-minute ticket to Madrid, where this year’s winners for IAB Europe’s Prestigious 2022 MIXX Awards were announced. Having submitted a joint entry with Martini for our 2020 Influencer campaign, we were delighted to hear the words ‘Felicidades a Stampix’ for the bronze award in the category Integrated Advertising!

The MIXX Awards, presented by IAB Europe each year, showcase the best of digital advertising from across Europe in a variety of categories.

Stampix decided to enter the award with our Martini campaign, competing against well-known brands such as Santander, Universal Pictures, and Vodafone in the same category. With the rapid growth of influencer marketing, we believed the campaign is still relevant today.

A brief summary of our submission: 🤓

During unprecedented lockdown times due to covid, Martini wanted to show support and empathise with their consumers. With the rise of aperitif moments at home, Martini set out to become part of these moments, aiming to bring family and friends closer together through pictures.

To achieve this, Martini partnered up with Stampix and activated its consumers via Instagram with Influencers, incentivising them to celebrate happy moments together, by taking photos and uploading them via a branded web application. These photos were printed and shipped to the consumer’s doorstep for free.

Over 100,000 branded photos were printed and distributed to Martini customers, resulting in increased engagement, database growth, brand building, and sales.

This campaign has always stood out to us because of its distinct positioning around #AppetizerMoments and the successful collaboration between Brand, out-of-the-box agencies AMV BBDO & OMD UK, and impactful influencers such as Eline De Munck. Now we even have a trophy to prove it.

This year’s jury includes representatives from Bauer Media, Bloomberg Media, Coca-Cola, Kantar, Mindshare, Publicis Media, Samsung Ads, and TikTok, among others, and I dare to say they made an excellent choice.
